Apple Care+ after 6 months?

I found a 5S for sale that is six months old and I would like to purchase it. Is it possible to buy AC+ for it somehow? Apple told me that there's only 60 or 90 days after the purchase of the phone to get AC+. But I thought there may be a trick or something. Because I saw third party sellers offering AC+ for the 5S. So it was just a thought! Thanks

You have 60 days from the date of purchase (original purchase)

There is no trick to getting AC+ after 60 days. However, there are other insurance companies that you can go with for your 5S that don't have a limit. You might have to prove that your 5S is in good working order first, though.
