Apple Care best value for Space Black SS?

I was not planning to get Apple Care when I ordered my Space Black SS Apple Watch, but when I saw the price is $69 regardless if you get the $549 model or the $1099 model I couldn't resist. Am I missing something? My watch ships in 4-6 weeks!

It sounds like its the same thing with the iPhone, buy the low end phone or the high end phone, you pay the same for applecare.

For the watch, other then the special edition ludicrously priced watch, you pay the same for apple care.
