Apple Care for Iphone

did anyone purchase it? I plan on getting the iphone 4 this summer and want to know if its worth it. Its a two year contract and i'm sure the first year will be covered by the warranty. however is it worth getting it for the second year of the contract??

In the US it makes sense. If it breaks after the first year you are depending on Apple's good will only.

In the EU I'd say no. Consumer laws step in.

Apple's good will is sometimes enough, especially if you have a common fault. It's like any extended warranty- it's a gamble.

EDIT- Check whether your credit card or insurance can cover it. Some do.

its like $35 I might just purchase it myself. do you know If I have to purchase it the same day I have the phone or just within the first year?
