I don't know why they're cheaper, but I bought 2 contracts from LA Computer with no problems.

As long as you get the box, its all good.

The box has the serial number and if there's any question about your apple care, apple will request that serial number. Without it they may invalidate the warranty.

Many people who buy apple care on ebay only get the activation key, which at times is counterfeit and when questions arise, apple requests that serial number to validate its an actual applecare warranty.

Are you kidding? Search the web, yes they're legit. I used to shop their B&M store often when I lived in CA. My AC for my MP and my ACD and my keyboard is from there.
