I just added my Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Vision Pro to an Apple Care one plan and am going to be paying $19.99 a month for it. Before I was paying for Apple Care Plus for just the Watch and the AirPods at $5.99 and $1.99 each a month. I have never had Apple Care on the Vision Pro before this. Am I getting a good deal. Considering how expensive and costly it would be to repair the Vision Pro without coverage. Thanks for your thoughts!

Yes, that’s a solid deal — the Vision Pro alone would cost a lot to repair, so bundling everything under one AppleCare+ plan for $19.99/month is definitely worth it.

I’m in a similar situation. I had Apple Care for my MacBook that I wasn’t planning on renewing, a Vision Pro with two years of Apple Care that was going to expire in February of 2026 and another device, an Apple Watch Series 9 with Apple Care that was going to expire in September so I joined, got a nice refund for the Apple Care months I had left on my devices which resulted in a nice credit I used in the iTunes Store and the Apple TV store to buy music and 3D movies for the AVP that I can also watch in 2D on my AppleTV hardware or in my iPhone or iPad.

I went ahead and got separate Apple Care for 2 years on my iPhone 17 (as I’ll be upgrading to the 20 year anniversary edition in 2027) and for my Aipods Pro 3 (that I’ll probably have for longer than two years so I can add that in to my AppleCare One plan if they don’t offer a less expensive extension).

It’s been perfect for me. The cost of having to repair the Vision Pro once my original Apple Care+ 2 year plan for the device scared me enough to do it and I do feel there’s value if you’ve got three devices where the combined cost of maintaining Apple Care (if you even can) would exceed the monthly price for Apple Care One or would be the only option at some point soon because they are fair IMO, in the credits the prorated credits they prove if your coming off an existing plan you already paid up front for if you’re moving before those would expire.

It’s right up my alley, but I also get why somebody with just an iPhone and scratch and AirPods might pass if they have lower cost plans that are either already ongoing and paid monthly or yearly that you can continue with after two years if you still have the device.
