Apple Care Plan Question

I tried to do a search and couldn't find what I was looking for my question. My mom has my 3GS I bought it back in Aug 2009. I didn't get a Apple care plan for it, but I was thinking it would be a good idea to get it now for my mom is there a chance I still can get it for her 3GS before Aug?

Yes, you have 1 year from the original date of purchase to add the Apple Care package.

Yes, you have 1 year from the original date of purchase to add the Apple Care package.

You got 1 year to add Apple Care, if you got it X of Aug 2009 you got until X of Aug 2010 to Activate/register your Apple Care.

Note I said "Activate/Register" and not buy...buying it is not enough you need to make sure is register to that specific phone by that date.

Punch in the serial number of the iphone here and it will tell you exactly when it expires.
You gotta apply the Applecare warranty before the 1 Year expires.
