Well, Applecare+ is in fact insurance covering accidental damage. But, it does not cover lost or stolen

The applecare+ is a new plan and probably will be adopted by many, but it does mean that if you break the phone it essentially will cost you 149$ for the first fix/replacement. 99$ + 49$ possibly per incident, which I pretty much think a broken screen will be.

It apparently won't cover water damage, but I have the feeling that IF something were to happen AND you have AC+, you most likely will get it fixed/replaced with a refurb, which is probably what they do anyways.

for people like my nephew, who manages to break a screen every three months, it will be a savings. for me, the insurance probably isn't worth it, I'm good with my things.
