Apple Care Too Late?

Hi, I recently bought an applecare protection plan but I can't seem to register it...

Background: I purchased my MBP on July 11, 2009. I put off buying the applecare until the night of July 10, 2010. It shipped and came on July 14th.

I believe I am within my rights to register right? This is seriously bugging me since I really want applecare on my investment. Anyone have any suggestions?

Call Apple and explain your situation. The plan should be registered when you're still inside your original 1-year warranty but as it has been so little time since the warranty expired, you might be able to get it registered by giving Apple a call.

Thanks for the quick reply. I went ahead and uploaded the receipt and proof of applecare purchase they asked for. Everything went well and they responded and activated my applecare within an hour.
