Just got my iPhone 16 PM, and have a dilemma, I love the feel of it and colour, I’ve never had apple care and I’ve had practically yearly upgrades since the 4S, so do I stick to my tradition and pop a nice case and screen protector on it or go naked with apple care?

I've always used Apple case and a screen protector for my iPhones, including the iPhone 16 Pro I just received. The first thing I did after taking it out of the box was put on the screen protector and camera lens protector, and then the Apple case. At that point I'm worry free. The screen protector I used was the Techmatte OneTouch from Amazon. It was a cinch to install and the one I had on my iPhone 14 Pro has lasted fro day one to today without a flaw..

Considering how expensive iPhones are these days, I always opt for the most comprehensive coverage available. AppleCare+ works well for me, especially when paired with an OtterBox case. I know it's not the prettiest, but I've lost interest in stylish designer cases. Now, I just prioritize practicality. 🤷‍♂️

I would get Apple Care+, personally. I always have a case, but I've not used a screen protector since the iPhone 4 and never had a problem yet.

Let me add that the product is actually called amFilm Screen Protector and the company is Techmatte.

Just installed this on an iPhone. The install was very quick and easy and went very well.
I think the instructions could be a bit clearer, but they are nonetheless step by step with pictures.

I’m getting AppleCare+ theft and loss and putting a case on it. I prefer the grip of a case vs not having one. And I’m not about to spend the next year of owning the 16 Pro Max hoping I don’t lose it or someone doesn’t steal it.
