can we trust the one's sold on ebay. when i searched in ebay i don't see many postings lately.

Apple, I think within 60 days of purchase.

Buy it directly from Apple. Just call them. They will register it for you. They will send you a link to do a quick diagnostic and that's it.

Don't buy from e-bay. It's risky and Apple may not honor them.
