Just curious what your take is on Apple Care if you use a case? I know its a nice peace of mind, but cases seam to protect pretty well against drops and in some ways i feel like I just waste money getting extra coverage.

Thoughts?

Never got AC+ for any of my iPhone and Apple Watch.

I rarely drop my iPhone and my watch and I use a clear case and screen protector for my iPhone.

I upgrade every 3-5 years.

I have AC+ but I do not use a case on my phone. I have coverage for peace of mind as we have an infant running around the house and a five year old who both like to get hold of our devices. Between my wife and I, we’ve had to use the express replacement option once each. She also uses a case on her iPhone though.

I've always put AppleCare + on all my devices. When I worked for Apple, a common call sounded like...I'm just calling in today for a screen repair on my Apple Watch (and doesn't have AppleCare). Imagine telling someone that they are going to have to purchase a new watch!
