I have a small business in which I fix iphones.

I'm using an iphone 4 that's eligible for apple care.

what do you guys think; is it worth the $70

It's only worth it if your iPhone fails and the issue is covered. I feel most extended warranties are not worth it because the odds are you will never need it.

as an apple authorized macintosh technician, I would definitely get applecare for notebooks. as far as desktops/iphones/ipods go, I don't think it's really worth it. No moving parts in the iphone mean no dead drive. I would suggest squaretrade if you are at all a klutz as this includes accidental damage as an option for coverage

Or if you are a person who can fix their own phone why would you feel the need to worry about it. I think Apple care is a waste .....no need for it on phones and ipods......imo
