Hi Forum,

I purchased a macbook two months ago with AppleCare. I was told at the time that AppleCare was automatically put in the system upon purchase. However, I just got around to thinking that I can't find it installed anywhere on my macbook. Should I open the package and pop the cd in myself? Is there any way to check?

Nothing is installed on your computer for AppleCare. The CD just contains some bonus diagnostic tools.

You can check here to make sure that your AppleCare has been registered to your computer.
