Apple CarPlay - USELESS!

I need a good map solution for work as I work in field sales. When I got my new company car I was excited to see it had CarPlay. Great I thought, comes with maps too, how wrong was I?

1. You cannot input a destination for maps on the touch screen, you have to do it on the phone. WTF number 1
2. No speed camera included - WTF number 2 ( luckily my in car sat nav still announces them )
3. No DAB radio integration. - WTF number 3
4. Cannot search my entire collection of music, only ones downloaded. WTF number 4.

Seriously, Apple has a LONG way to go before CarPlay is useable. Siri eyes free on the other hand is really good!

Well, certainly 1 & 4 are incorrect WTF’s as I can do both of those. For 1 click on the search icon in maps then the keyboard icon. Not sure what’s wrong with No. 4 for you but I can browse my entire music collection, downloaded and “cloud”
In terms of 3, when has the iPhone ever had DAB integration? CarPlay is an extension of the phone and will use apps and their “support” in CarPlay.
For 2 I guess Apple just hasn’t integrated speed camera as of yet. They’ve only just added lane assist.
