Apple CEO Tim Cook spent the weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana, which is where Super Bowl LIX was held on Sunday. Cook visited several locations in New Orleans, and chronicled the trip in a short social media video.

Cook started his trip off visiting Harry Connick Jr. at the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music (EMCM), known for youth music education. Apple funds EMCM with Apple technology and grants to sponsor young musicians.

He then visited Domilise's Po-Boy for a meal with NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and met up with country singer Shaboozey. After that, Cook took a trip to the Apple Music Radio Studio that was hosting daily Super Bowl LIX broadcasts featuring New Orleans music, and he stopped by the Apple location at Lakeside Shopping Center to meet up with students learning to use GarageBand.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Cook saw the NFL Host Committee Parade, which included an Apple Music-sponsored float that young artists from Arts New Orleans designed using an iPad and Apple Pencil.

Cook then attended the Super Bowl and watched the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX halftime show with Kendrick Lamar. Cook's short video on his trip ends with a thank you to the city of New Orleans for hosting him.

Snoozer of a Superbowl, and from what I hear a rather boring halftime (I actually stopped watching before halftime). Hopefully he chatted with the right people to expand Apple music.
The Chiefs getting decimated is a snoozer?
The entire stadium singing A minorrr while Kendrick Lamar destroys Drake is boring?

You watched the same Super Bowl as the rest of us?

Expand? Apple Music already has the largest library. 100M vs Spotify's 80M. Not that this makes any difference as all but the most obscure music is on both platforms equally.

If by "expand Apple Music", you mean in subscriptions, I'm not sure who Tim Cook is going to be chatting with to expand subscriptions but Apple Music sponsoring Half Time itself is important.

This kind of pop culture presence matters. We may know the ins and outs of Apple Music but your average Joe and Jane get what other more tech savvy people in their lives suggest they get. Watching Apple Music during the Super Bowl does move the needle because it gets in their sphere of awareness.

tbh it would’ve been a bit more interesting if the Chiefs had managed to put up a fight at all 🤣

Watching Mahomes get sacked multiple times and then throw an interception was probably the most fun I’ve had watching a Super Bowl in a long time. Then again I’m an Eagles fan.

No one likes us, we don’t care.

Go Birds.

Hey, Tim, many students, musicians, and other artists cannot afford Apple products since you became CEO and raised prices. Stop tweeting like you actually care about students, musicians, and other artists. You care far more about maximizing profits for shareholders than you care about helping students, musicians, and other artists.

Whoever recommended Domilise's deserves a raise if they are an Apple employee. They have great po-boys, my favorite (some prefer Parkway, however), and the ambiance is unbeatable.
These words appear to be in English but I don’t understand them.
