I'm looking at a new mac pro to replace my g5.

I have an apple cinema HD 23" display and am not sure it will work with the mac pro.

Anyone know if there are any adaptors, etc.? My concern is that the HD gets power through the same cable as video.

It is an older HD display part number m8537zm/a. . .

Thanks for any info!

You can do it with an Apple ADC to DVI converter. They were $100 new, but they have gotten more expensive since the ADC plug was retired. You may want to hunt eBay or Craigslist. (I have seen an entire Power Mac G4 with display AND that adapter on Craigslist for less than that Amazon link.)
