Hi guys.

I am sitting here Sunday morning. I have this Mac Pro with a 30" monitor. I put it together a few weeks ago. It used to be my boyfriend's but he is not longer around (passed away). And the thing is that this monitor is so dark! I like the size but I do not know if is because is old or because it used to be like that originally and it seems it can not get any brighter. :s

I attached the information I could get from system profiler.

The CCFL bulbs are probably old and worn out. Replacing them is not easy. Just a reality of CCFL bulbs before everything went LED.

CCFL bulbs are similar to normal lightbulbs. They eventually wear out due to material burning away which you can notice with light becoming dimmer and dimmer over time.
