I know to make it work I need to get Apple "Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter", however the review on Apple store are not quite good for this $100 pricey gadget. It looks like firmware version might be important here.
To make it more affordable I checked eBay and looks like $60+ should do it. But the same time I am even more worried about to been stuck with item which doesn't work for a lot of people in the first place from Apple store. (more confusing -are they really two part numbers A1306 and MB571Z/A for same adapter?)
So, I would like to hear from anybody who's got this setup.
What firmware/version of adapter I should get and is there anything I should know before I make this purchase?
I guess getting it from eBay would be too risky in such a situation; or maybe not? Help please!?
