Apple Cinema Display 23" with Sony Vaio Z Series

Would this setup work with an HDMI (M) to DVI (F) adapter? Does anyone have any experience using HDMI out laptops with DVI Cinema Displays?

Yes. It will (with a female HDMI adapter). Although I use the VGP-PRZ1 (with Dell 2707 for the most part as the sole monitor when the machine is docked). I'd suggest doing the same too. If you're going to use it, why not use everything about the Z that's superior to Apple notebooks?
