I have a Cinema HD display, acrylic ADC and it has gotten really dim. Not backlight off, but looks like about 40% brightness at full setting. Is this a failing investor board? Or failing panel? I'd like to replace the faulty component and keep using it. Any ideas?

Also, does anyone know where I can get the wallpaper Apple had in the promo photos? Looks like this:

Thanks!

Most likely the inverter board is failing. My guess is the part should be around $30 or so. You should be able to do the repair yourself if you know your way around a screwdriver. I would not spend more than $100 fixing it though, because you can buy a new monitor (on sale) for not much more that would be better.

Cheers

Thanks. Got a link to where I can purchase the inverter board? Thanks!

Does anyone have this wallpaper of the buildings? Thanks!
