Apple Cinema HD Display 23"

I am looking for a cinema hd display, but I couldn't find any good review of it. All reviews I have read told the same bla bla like
"colors are bright, text is crisp, stunning picture,...".
What I want to know too is the quality at watching DVD (is there any ghosting), or is the display fast enough for playing games.
I don't want to use this display just for Photoshop and DTP. Having some fun is important too (DVD, games).
Who can help? Thanks in advance! (and sorry for my lousy english...)

the display was made specifically for HD authoring, so i would bet the refresh rate on DVD's / game play is just fine (at least 29.97 fps). I've seen a DVD playing on the display, and it's fantastic. No ghosting, fragmentation, etc.

Ghosting only exists on LCD screens that aren't using a digital signal (for example, a standard VGA port). As far as I have seen, no Apple displays ghost.

It depends on your video card, too. I'm not sure what you're using.

Help!

Can somebody help me source an Apple desktop picture I need for a project I'm working on. I've attached a screenshot below of the relevant desktop picture. I need the desktop picture as large as possible as I plan on scaling it to A2. So ideally I'm looking for someone with a giganto cinema-sized display who can provide it in the largest pixel dimension possible.

Thanks for your help. If you're curious to know what it's for, it's for a competition entry we're submitting. We designed a website for a San Diego based record label Bremsstrahlung Recordings which is based entirely on System 6.0 (http://www.lowercasesound.com) and we thought it would be nice to use one of Apple's newer desktop pictures as a background.

Where do you live?
If you live in the states, then go to an Apple store or a Compusa, they will let you play around with it!! And take a DVD with you!!
