Apple Cinema Monitor - Black Screen

One of my co-workers was editing on our Mac Pro with an Apple Cinema monitor, when the screen turned off. The power light for the monitor is still one. Also it looks like the USB ports are not supplying power to the keyboard or mouse anymore. Any guesses?

I have not restarted the computer, due to the fact we are trying not to loose all of our mornings work.

same problem to me... i have a macpro 2008 ..ati2600xt.. hp 306 monitor, when i start the sistem , the monitor is in STANDBY MODE , after a while (2-4 hours) he come to normal

Black Screen at Start up

I have an Apple Cinema Display that is being used with a G5 Tower. I am having a problem with the screen remaining Black at start-up. You can here the tower going through all of its normal startup sounds and I can tell it has fully booted when I hear the you have mail prompt, but the screen remains black. If I reboot 2-3 more times, it will boot as normal.. Any ideas?
