I have my nice new DELL monitor connected to my Mac Pro.

Thinking about using my old Apple Cinema panel as a second monitor but it has a Mini Display connector and my graphics card only has left DVI-I DVI-D and the HDMI as I am using the Display Port for the DELL.

So I am looking for an adapter Female Display Port to either DVI or HDMI if such things exist.

Thanks.

I searched through Amazon and I couldn't find anything that had a female MiniDP. What other inputs does the Dell have?

Ports in on the DELL are HDMI DP and MDP, I am using the MDP to DP on the Graphics card because the Graphics card DP give 60Hz, and the cable that came with the DELL is a DP to MDP.

What is the resolution of the Dell. If its a recent monitor and graphics card then you should be able to get the native resolution and refresh rate over HDMI.

The Dell is a 27inch Ultra HD 4K Monitor, but my graphics card only puts out 4k 60Hz via the DP port.

I am not bothered about getting 4k 60Hz on the Apple monitor not that it is no good for that monitor anyway, I just want to connect it to the graphics card, crazy Apple screen with just the one MD plug :(
