ive been debating between the two and the cinema is really nice (aluminum, simple, clean) but the dell has a huge plus, height adjustable.. oh and portrait mode.

so i was wondering what you guys thought... i mean, how can a 600+ monitor not be height adjustable?

oh and why is it that these monitors dont suffer screen bleeding vs. imac?

I would personally go with the Cinema Display just because its apple and you can never go wrong with apple....unless money is an issue which then i would go with the dell.

A monitor is a long-term investment and the Apple's lack of support for HDCP, DisplayPort and HDMI are rather large demerits in my book. I agree the ACD's look great and have great components, but they are not "future proof" in any real way so you might find yourself having to buy a new monitor much quicker then you planned to get features Apple doesn't offer.

As such, right now Dell and NEC are the two I am looking at.
