Apple clear case this year

Hi all, can anyone confirm if the clear case this year is tighter and fits better ? I recall last year most of the clear cases were loose or coming out from the corners.. I want to get it but not if it still has that issue.

I just got it the other day for the 14 pro max and it creaks on one side. The fit isn’t tight

The fit is definitely off. I had the 12P and that case was tight. Got the 14P and its clear case and it’s loose. It creaks whenever I use the phone. Like it’s not bad enough they charge $49 for clear plastic, but I’d expect it to fit.

I got one for the 14 Pro (which I’ve decided to return anyway) and can confirm it’s creaky and loose-feeling compared to the worn-in one I have on my 13 mini, which still fits like a glove down to the millimeter.

Oh, also, the strength of the MagSafe magnets was definitely trash in comparison. In testing, the MagSafe Wallet flipped around and/or fell off of the case with light pressure; the 13 mini’s MagSafe Case has a far more resistant hold.

Seems Apple is cutting corners beyond just the “standard” 14/Plus this year…

Maybe I got lucky. My apple clear case for the 14 PM is a tight fit and no creaking when I hold or squeeze the case. It’s also very difficult to take off.

Yes, if anything it's too difficult to remove! Any time I take it off (which I've only done twice so far) I feel like I'm going to break it! Might be a problem considering that I'm someone who likes to swap cases regularly.

They feel fine to me. This is my first Apple clear case so I can't directly compare to previous years, but the buttons firm but easy enough to press to me.

The lack of bottom frame protection is a major concern for me. Second year I’ve gone to the clear Spigen instead.

And I decided to return it. Went with the Midnight Leather. Much happier with it.
