On Apple Color, for every frame I play back, scrub through, or move frame by frame, the video will flash a frame of black. At 24fps I'm assuming that's 1/48th second of black and 1/48th second of the actual frame. I tried an external monitor and it will still flash frames of black. You can imagine how discomforting and probably dangerous the flashes are.

This only happens on Color. I can send it back to Final Cut Pro and the flicker would stop.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Retina display by the way, but again I've tried an external display. Still the same black flashing.
