I've seen some people in the threads who had their orders canceled by Apple due to an upgrade eligibility mistake with their carriers. Apple asks you to place a new order, email them the new order number, and they will try to fulfil your order in an expedited manner.
This happened to me last Tuesday, and I was told that there was still a good chance I would get it on launch day.
Fast forward a few days, and no update on my order status (other than having the shipping speed upgrade knocking a couple days off my delivery date).
Anyone in this situation have any luck getting their orders filled quickly by Apple?
(Apple customer service and the email address I've been exchanging with have been no real help, just that they're "trying")
