My iPhone arrived in Louisville Kentucky on Tuesday morning and has been there ever since. This morning at 7:30am, the status change from Arrival Scan, to Import Scan. If it's still in Louisville, there's no way it'll be here by tomorrow! :( Anyone else seeing this same thing?

UPS and FedEx can move it very fast, no need to worry. There's a million other threads about this.

Read some other threads on here.. everyone's stuck in louisville.. they're probably waiting to ship them all together. It's UPS, it'll be there.

Yay another thread on the same damn thing. I wish people would stop pretending they know about logistics, last time I checked shipping companies have years of experience and expertise.

It'll get there. Everyone's is like that. Anywhere in the country is no more than a 5 hour flight. Lots of cargo flights go at night, will be sorted overnight, and back out to a truck.

Um BREATHE... it has plenty of time! You would be surprised how fast airplanes can go nowadays!
Your phone will be there tomorrow if it says it is scheduled to be there by the end of the day! :D

Except for that one time I ordered a laptop and it got stolen out of New Orleans. It had an arrival scan in New Orleans and should have gone out for delivery that day.

UPS never saw that coming I'm sure.

sometime from now to later to night it will be wisked to your local hub. Apple has UPS and FedEx hold them at this hub to make SURE that none get delivered early like they have in the past!

That really sucks, and of course there are exceptions to every rule but it still doesn't negate the fact that these companies do in fact know what they are doing.

OH MY GOD! You should call UPS ASAP and complain! Seriously though, relax. This has happened at every Apple launch day. It's probably already moved and the website hasnt updated because everyone keeps hitting refresh and panicking because it hasn't moved. The site gets slammed and can't update the status of the million preordered iPhones, along with the other millions of packages they have to ship.

Really? There's no way? Lets see here, if the plane with your iPhone leaves this evening and arrives in your area by tonight...all they need to do is drive your package to your local hub. Then it gets on the truck Friday morning.

Get a grip :) You forget UPS works 24/7, not 9am to 5pm.

Most definitely. Somehow UPS can turn a 3-day ground shipment from Tennessee to Louisiana into an overnight shipment if I order from Newegg before 2PM central time. That's logistics. :)

This is weird.. Of all the scheduled UPS departures listed between 3 PM and 6 PM, none of the destination cities listed are any closer to me than Louisville.. Yet it was scanned for departure at 3:07 PM today.. I don't understand this at all.

And where do you live? Could be ground transportation.
