Hi, I am assisting in a home cleanout. While clearing out my clients' attic, we found an Apple Computer. I have been asked to see if I could sell this computer and I have no idea where to start. All I know about it comes right off of the back of the computer - Model Number M00001, FCC ID: BCG9GRM0001. If there is some assistance and/or advice I could get, that would be great.

I think the M00001 is the original 128k Mac.

If it is an M00001W it's the upgraded 512k model. An M0001E is (I believe) the 512 education model, and M00001A is the 1Mb Mac Plus.

Although many (most?) original M0001s were upgraded by an Apple dealer to 512K/M0001W, so just because it says it's an M0001 doesn't necessarily mean it's an original 128K any more.

And of course, it only really retains noticeable value if it works. You can plug in any standard power cable and flip the switch on the back to see if it beeps and the screen comes on.
