Hi guys,
downloaded the new iPhoto beta. All of a sudden up in the menu bar is a new heading. 'apple confidential 620.98'

anyone else have this?

i'm not sure i should answer that on here. But it was a normal developer release (to my knowledge). Was definitely not hacked in any way (wouldn't actually know how to hack iphoto for my life).

Here's a pic of 'about iPhoto'

Well I can confirm this is the same on the version available in Apple's Developer Portal.

It is a 'confidential' release of iPhoto remember and only to be used in 'test environments' as you have to start your iPhoto Library from scratch when installing it.

Great for Photo Stream though!

In other words you have a pirated version.

in other words i have a legit version, not downloaded directly from apple. The site is a well known site, i do not want to advertise it.

where i got the release is not of importance. i would have started a thread 'where do you think i downloaded this iPhoto from?' if i wanted to talk about that..

oh fantastic :)
yea i read the developer notes before installing, starting from scratch wasnt a problem. So the apple confidential is there just to emphasise it is apple confidential? i thought every dev release was confidential, why is this one so special :)
