Apple Configurator for OSX devices

Is there an Apple Configurator for OSX devices?, seems each file exported is ***.mobileconfig Cannot be imported into OSX.
I'm after the expiration date feature for security reasons and this is available for iOS devices only.

Is there an Apple Configurator for OSX devices?

Yes and no. Apple's Configurator is for iOS only. I use a product called Casper JAMF that allows OS X configuration. I am not sure if there is an expiration date component.
