Even though I am now using the latest Apple Configurator software at my workplace, I am still having some issues. When I connect an iPad to wipe and reset, when the process begins I keep getting a dialog box saying the MacOS requires a software updated to do it, and when I attempt to download it, an error message comes up saying "Installation failed, Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." Also, if I try to connect more than one iPad model type and wipe them together via Apple Configurator, when the iOS re-install begins all the iPads will disconnect, then reconnect but it's too late, as Apple Configurator will have failed and they won't reinstall while connected. At first I thought this was due to me attempting it while my MacBook Air was running on the battery, but it also happens when on AC power.
This is really going to affect my productivity at my workplace. Does anyone know any workarounds, or how I can get this update installed that may apparently fix the problem, if it does?

The updates needed are MobileDeviceOnDemand.pkg and CoreTypes.pkg, reboot after installing them.

That may have fixed it! I will give further updates as I keep working on more iPads early next week.

Well, a few weeks afterward, I'm getting the problem again. I get the dialog box saying the MacOS requires a software updated to do it, and when I attempt to download it, I get the "Installation failed, Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server" error message. And if I try to wipe more than one iPad model of a certain type, Apple Configurator disconnects them with a bounce, and fails the install while leaving them all in Recovery Mode.
Are there updated links to those install files? Or is there something else going on?

Yep, those worked for a while, but I'm getting the issue again. Is there a way I can access these latest files without having to ask you for them, so I can locate and download them on my own for such manual updates until Apple finally fixes this bug with Configurator?

As far as I can tell, there are no new pgk files available. But Apple Configurator reinstalled the last ones on my Monterey system as well.

Apple's support page - If your Mac says that a software update is required to connect to iPhone or iPad https://support.apple.com/en-us/102671

You can manually start the update by opening /Library/Apple/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework/Versions/A/Resources/MobileDeviceUpdater.app

The links for CoreTypes.pkg and MobileDeviceOnDemand.pkg can be found in Apple’s software update catalogs, mentioned in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Seeding.framework/Versions/A/Resources/SeedCatalogs.plist
