Apple has started preparations for the Worldwide Developers Conference that's coming in under two weeks, and today, the Apple Developer app was updated for those who are attending or planning to join sessions and labs.

The Apple Developer app outlines the 2023 session videos, 1-on-1 labs, Slack activities, and more, plus it introduces new WWDC 2023 stickers. When iOS 17 and the other new software updates are introduced, the Developer app will include videos and sessions organized into specific topics, as well as scheduling for sessions and activities.
Thank you for your feedback! New in this release:
- Explore all WWDC23 has to offer, including session videos, activities in Slack, 1-on-1 labs, and more.
- We've also fixed bugs and added various other enhancements.
Apple's 2023 WWDC event is set to begin on June 5 with a 10:00 a.m. keynote that will see the company unveil iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, and more, including the long awaited AR/VR headset.

Developers will be able to watch the WWDC keynote using the app, and can also access all of the new development content. The Apple Developer app can be downloaded from the App Store for free. It is available on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. [Direct Link]

When they announced Apple Silicon I wanted to watch EVERY video on it for WWDC. I was extremely interested.
That’s where any juicy tidbits are bound to be found. For example, if they are still referring to the AppleGPU on the SoC in their sessions, then that likely means that, for this year anyway, the only GPU in any Apple Silicon Mac will still be the one on the SoC.

Get ready to be disappointed (though I can't speak to the VR crap). Unless you are looking forward to the diary app or whatever.
That’s certainly a negative way of thinking, every WWDC I’ve watched I’ve been excited throughout the whole keynote. For me it’s usually a bunch of minor things followed by something big, always been like that every year. But this years big is BIG (if it’s AR/VR that is).

But yea, I mean if I just focus on the negative I can certainly say everything sucks but I’m happy in life and love new/different stuff

IMHO, looking back, and even after the WWDC keynote from last year, there really weren't any exciting or "must-have" new features that were announced for the xOS releases. It was all relatively iterative, especially on macOS, where the exciting new change was the transition from Sys Pref > Sys Settings and the debacle and outrage it caused for many sys admins, including myself.

And, if the headset isn't announced, then yea, the updates will all be relatively minor this year as well cuz, even though the tech theme/trend of the year is trending towards AIs/LLMs, you know that Apple has no skin in that department, so they can't announce a chatbot/copilot like ChatGPT for xOS/turn Siri into a chatbot/copilot.

Okay! :) My way of loving life and seeing through divine eyes isn’t loving worldliness, especially just because it’s “new/different.” But do you, boo-boo :)

The Developer app (version 10.4) is repeatedly crashing on launch on my M1 MacBook Pro. I tried deleting and re-downloading it from the App Store app after the first few crashes. When it continued the crashing behavior I rebooted my Mac and it's still crashing on launch. Anyone else seeing this behavior?
