Apple Developer Connection - Student Membership

Hello everyone,

In the market for a new Mac and my friend told me that you can get 20% off with a developer connection account and that a student membership is only $99. I can't seem to find pricing details and if the program is still available on Apple's website.

Does anyone know if this still exists and if so, how I can go about locating the pricing information on a new laptop? Looking to buy relatively soon so any help would be very much appreciated!

I think they phased out the student membership when they moved to the $100 per year pricing model. Unfortunately, you are probably too late to get that discount. If you're looking for a deal, probably the best place to look would be the refurb section of the store. The machines that come out of there are reputed to just as good as new, but cheaper.
