Apple Devices / Windows 11 (photos sync issue)

I have a windows laptop with Windows 11.
I use apple devices to sync photos from my Laptop to my iphone 11/16

For some reason and on some folders only 2-3 photos are being synced from the pc to the iphone.....??

Is it because it says: optimizing library 12%

But, seems like a reasonable conclusion. Let optimizing finish, then see what's going on.

“Some folders” = folders in Windows Explorer? If you make a test folder & copy in files, does that work?

Have you considered using iCloud? I know there’s an iCloud for Windows app, but like I said… not a Windoze user myself

Yeah it weird. I made a new folder and transferred there photos from an older folder and it doesn’t even sync that folder.

In settings > photos switch the setting “transfer to Mac or pc” to “keep originals”. Should copy fine after that

I did manage to fix it by syncing each folder one by one.... so frustrating.
