remember when iPhone 5 was released and Apple didn't release a dock? and then they fixed this problem with the iPhone 5s and released a dock with that? in fact TWO docks, one for iPhone 5c and one for iPhone 5s.
and now they are made the same problem, no dock for iPhone 6.
I love Apple docks because unlike many of the docks out there, they are very small, simple and can be taken with you when you travel.
