Apple Digital AV Adapter and 1080p Movies

It says on the products' page "films play up to 720p". Does that mean that it won't play 1080p movies if I use it with the iPad 3? And do the movies look pixelated on a big screen?

If you want to stream movies from your iPad3 to a HDTV you might want to look into the 1080p AppleTV3 as it's about the price of a couple of those component cables.

PS unless you're sitting inches away from your TV or it's enormous you won't see much difference between 720p & 1080p.
