Apple Digital AV Adapter wont fit with cases??

So I just my digital av adapter and the plug is a whole lot bigger than the regular charging/syncing plug. I dont have my 4S yet so I cant check but is it going to be able to fit when you have a case on the phone?

Depends on the case. Not all cases are identical.
