Apple display price drops?

I am waiting for the new G5 lineup to be released before making a new system
purchase. Is there much chance of any price drops in the near future on the Apple 17" and 20" Cinema displays?

there have been rumors that the display updates have been delayed until the new G5s come out(jan 20?). i havent read anything on how the update is going to look like but the introduction of a 17in widescreen is probable. theres also been talk of a 30 inch LCD.
