This issue may be me just being paranoid trying to keep my new 3G nice and scratch free but I noticed that when using the Apple Dock Connector to USB for syncing or charging up that the little metal fingers on each side of the connector seems to leave little nicks on each side of the plastic housing at the opening of the 3G Docking Port. It might be that I got a white 3G so they are more visible but I just want to make sure it is not something I am doing wrong. I am new to Apple stuff so this might be normal and am probably just used to using a Micro USB cable on my old cell phone which did not have issues like this. Any info would be appreciated.

If anyone has any info they could post it would be appreciated. I noticed a lot of people read the topic but I still got no responses.

Thanks for the info. One less thing to be worried about.
