I have an old 333 Mhz Powerbook G3 running Mac OS 9.2.2. I have an external Pioneer DVR-104 DVD/CD-R/RW connected to the computer via a Starlogic Firewire PC card. I mainly use the drive for CD burning, but would also like to use it for DVD playback.
Given my current setup, is it possible to play DVD movies on my computer?
In other words, is it possible for Apple DVD Player 1.3 to recognize the drive and use it as a DVD player when I put a DVD movie in the tray?
