Just wondering, when I went to prefrences on the DVD player app. there is a HD section. I thought you couldn't play HD DVDs in the player? Or is that if you make your own HD DVDs, you can play it? Again I am just wondering, and what I can use it for. Thanks in advance.

DVD Studio Pro allows you to author HD DVD, and DVD Player can then play back your authored movies. You cannot use it to play commercial movies due to the copy protection and the additional codecs used.

Rumours are for "full" HD DVD support in Leopard or one of its point updates.
