Apple DVD Player Trouble

i have just been talking to a friend who bought a 12" powerbook at christmas.

she's found that suddenly the DVD player is screwing up. a few movies tested, and every 30min it exits fullscreen mode.

any reason it would do this, especially while plugged in?

its a 12" 1.33ghz PB.

Could be a screen saver or energy settings.
