Apple Education , 3 Year Labour warranty.

Hey guys, basically i purchased my MacBook Pro of the NUS store on Apple's website. On the right hand side it states:

"3 year limited parts and labour warranty now standard on all current Apple computers"

But when i called tehcnical support they said i have only one year.

Did anyone else get this?.....how do you enable it.

Items bought through UK higher education store come with 3-year warranty (but no extended phone support). AFAIK that's the only exception. When bought through other stores, it's the regular 1-year warranty

The warranty is nothing to do with legal requirements. It is a special agreement Apple made with the UK Higher Education Sector. You should check the status in your own country.
