Apple Education Discount Summer 2008??

Was told by an employee at an Apple university retailer to hold off on buying a new macbook until after June 2 (next monday) as that is when Apple will offer their summer discount.. more than the typical $100 off??

I recall last year's offer included an iPod nano (after rebate) with any purchase??

Any thoughts? Is he accurate on saying I should wait? Any news on what is and when this summer's education discount will start?
