Apple Event Spring 2022 - Srouji New Watch

Just re-watching this Spring Event and I kind-of wondering if Johny Srouji is rocking a new Apple Watch?
Johny’s hands look big so this watch on his left hand looks huge, much bigger than the 45mm.

When you watch the presentation right at his introduction the first 30 seconds that Watch looks bigger even though he’s using the link bracelet.

Thoughts?

I think it’s an S7 Apple Watch. I don’t think the new Apple Watch 8 is even in production yet. It’s a little too early. However, it does look cool on him because that’s a Senior Vice President, Johny Srouji the mastermind behind the M Chip. He has started to become my favorite exec.

I guess you guys are right and I got far too excited.

Yeah Srouji has been my favourite Apple Exec for a few years now. He’s the Silicon Sugar-Daddy we’ve all been happy to have lol. Just poking fun at his incredible leadership.

no S8 is not in production yet, however, I would not be surprised if these execs are not wearing prototypes ... having said that, I would be surprised if they would let it slip through that they get filmed for an event wearing a prototype that's 6+ months away from production ...
So I agree, it's a S7
