AppStore event?

Why is nobody (blogs) talking about this? Wasn't apple supposed to host an event today?

What do you think we'll see? My guess is that It will be a tribute to all the apps in this decade. Sort of like the oscars but for apps. What do you think?

Will Apple’s first ever December event today honoring games/apps be live streamed? There’s no mention of it on Apple’s website.
