Apple Exclusively Selling New 4-in-1 MagSafe Charging Stand

Apple recently began selling a MagSafe-compatible wireless charging stand that can charge a combination of up to four iPhones and AirPods simultaneously.

Designed by Zens, the Quattro Wireless Charger Pro 4 is available exclusively on Apple's online store, with U.S. pricing set at $149.95.

The stand has two levels, which are each embedded with two MagSafe chargers that can provide up to 15W of power for wireless charging. That means the MagSafe chargers built into the stand are based on the first-generation MagSafe standard, as the second-generation MagSafe standard can reach speeds of up to 25W.

Zens says each iPhone charging on the stand can charge to 35% in 30 minutes.

This stand lacks Apple Watch charging pucks, but there is another with one.

The stand connects to a wall outlet with an included 65W power adapter and a power cord, with various plug adapters included for international use.

Suppose this is nice if you need a central charger in your kitchen or something, but I prefer cables when I need a top-off charge. Plus, this doesn't help with iPads or Apple watches.

Why not the faster MagSafe speed even tho it doesn’t charge faster I have it with a 30w brick and isn’t 25w charging the usb c cable 20w is faster

This would maybe work implemented into a car centre console, for driver and front passenger.

But as a nightstand/bedside table solution, and without a watch puck, it's a heinously expensive solution looking for a problem.

I bought one and it's really practical for the 4 iPhones we have in the house. So much better than having 4 plugs and 4 cables. Looks perfectly ok to me and does the job I need it to do.

Ok, a kitchen counter/family use case. Fair enough. But 15W each is painfully slow.

1. This is a third party charging dock, and we’ll likely have to wait for Qi 2.1 for 25W wireless charging speeds from 3rd parties.

2. Qi charging generates a lot of heat, so that’s why it might not charge as quickly as wired charging at the same wattage.

They’ll probably add it on the next revision… as a third level, on top of the AirPods!

With that said, this thing reminds me of those IKEA Variera shelves you use inside your kitchen cabinets for extra storage!
