Apple Extended Holiday Return = No updated Intel Macbook Pro 16 ?

Does it seem that with the extended return period in place, Apple would not do an Intel update to the 16 inch Pro? I mean if they did, most would exchange it for the newer one....would seem costly for them?

I wouldn't correlate the two. They do extended holiday return periods every year.
