Apple/FedEx Shipping?

I ordered my first Mac (15" iMac 800MHz) on Tuesday!
On FedEx's website the "Estimated Delivery Date" is 10/04/2003.
That's tomorrow! Sounds great, but I'm a little worried.

October 1st 6:07AM Departed FedEx sort facility Sacramento, CA

September 30th 12:00AM Customer-Loaded Trailer picked up
11:11PM Scanned at FedEx sort facility
3:56PM Package Information transmitted to FedEx

Why has there been no activity since the 1st?
Maybe it is coming directly here (Atlanta area)?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Am I screwed?
Did the truck crash?
Am I getting it tomorrow?

I previously ordered stuff by fedex that was still accross the country the day before it was supposed arrive at my door... got it fine the next day.

Yesterday, my 12"PB was still in Taiwan and I received it this morning (originally scheduled for next monday)...

So I'd say you shouldn't worry/turn into a pumpkin until tomorrow midnight

Don't worry. For FedEx Ground they scan the package once at the beginning and once when it hits the hub for delivery, so you can normally go a few days without seeing a scan.

I have dozens of orders per day using fed ex and in my opinion their order status and estimated delivery date is 99% accurate

my airport card was due to ship 10/03/03 before 10:30AM from taiwan also via FedEx
it came more than 24hrs. earlier!
i didn't think i'd have to worry!

I'd say you'll get it. If it was airborne expess I would say that there's no chance in hell.

the FedEx dude came by, but we weren't home
fortunately he lives nearby and he left his cell number so we could call and ask him to drop it off on his way home from work!
now i just have to wait until 5-6PM
i'll have to start re-reading the missing manual for the second time to pass the time...

i got my new imac about 2 hours ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's been awesome so far
took minutes to set up
got airport working
installed ram
set up everything
i was ripping a cd withing 15 minutes of opening the box!!
that's what a computer should be like
i love having a computer in my room!
safari is snappy even downloading 100MB 10.2.8 update! (and worldbook updates)
